At VTP Apps, accessible from VTPApps.com, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by VTP Apps and how we use it.

This Privacy Policy applies only to the VTP Apps website (vtpapps.com) and the Virtual Teleprompter software. This policy is also applicable to any information obtained from our distribution partners (Microsoft and Apple).

Information we collect

1. If you contact us directly, we may receive information about you such as your name, email address, the contents of the message and/or attachments you may send us, and any other information you may choose to provide.

2. Data stored and used within our Virtual Teleprompter software. 
Our application uses an HTML LocalStorage element to store data locally on the user's PC. The purpose of the LocalStorage is to allow the users to easily browse backwards and forwards inside the application and the data also survives a system reboot and application closure. This allows the user to pick up where they left off upon restarting the app. The LocalStorage is stored in the users %appdata% folder on their own PC. 

 

3.  We have access to Microsoft Partner Center health reports. and Apple Analytics 
The analytics data we obtain from Microsoft and Apple allow us to see non-identifying information about our users for the purpose of improving the application performance, quality, crashes, and unresponsive events. For instance, we can see the number of failure hits, package version, Country, Device type, OS version, OS release version.

Note: Our application does not use or require any internet connectivity because the teleprompter data is stored locally on the users PC within the %appdata% folder. We do not have any cloud servers or cloud storage requirements. Data privacy was a key consideration when we designed our application due to the nature of the data i.e. speeches, keynote addresses, presentations etc.
